|Dale Chihuly is an
American Glass Sculptor. He is known for his Glass forms. Some of them
were very small and some his forms were huge. Chihuly designed cylanders,
glass on glass figures, and many other figurines. But he is known
for spectacular exhibits.
Chihuly had an interest in glass sculptures since he was very young. He started out as a glassblower. He attended the University of Wisconsin Madison and received a Masters of Science Degree in Sculpture. Later he attended The Rhode Island School of Design which he earned a Maters of Fine Arts.
His career started off making the glass sculptures with a team of people that helped him. Chihuly later went out and started exhibits in many different cities. Soon he was a sensation. His exhibits are at the Bellagio in Las Vegas, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, MGM Resorts International, New York, London, and many other places.
Chihuly has this exhibit at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina. The exhibits is showing inside the mansion, but also is spread all over the grounds and gardens.
If you decided to see the exhibit, plan to go in the daytime to see where the exhibits are placed then return at night to all the exhibits illmuniated with lights.
